We are located in Bristol, PA.1 mile off of the NJ turnpike and 20 minutes from Center City Philadelphia.  We prefer not to ship our puppies but will do so when we feel a loving, suitable home has been found.

Our pups are registered with both AKC & UKC.  All adults are dual registered with many organizations as we enjoy showing them.  We do not sell to homes that are looking for a future stud or breeding bitch.  We prefer that the show/potential puppy is purchased to be shown but it is not a requirement.  We do prefer them to be shown but it is up to their new family.  We take into consideration that the only reason to breed is to better the breed in physical structure following the FCI standard of appearance and temperament therefore if you are to consider ever breeding your Bordeaux you should of course show them first to be sure you are breeding only the very best to produce the very best.  I have tried to eliminate from my lines as well as educate others how to rid any harmful traits that can cause health problems as well as aggression.  My goal is to breed sound, sweet tempered, healthy big red marshmallows.

We participate in many shows and encourage sportsmanlike conduct and competition at all dog events, which is sometimes hard to do because we all know that we each look at our own Dogue and because our heart sees what it wants, which is the most beautiful critter in the ring, we are hurt when our dogue does not win, but I still encourage the utmost respect towards my ring mates and that is what makes us a "special breed".  There are many wonderful people in this breed but please do your homework and visit.  That is the best advice I can give to a new puppy family.  It is best to see how a puppy is raised and loved in a nurturing home.

We do not sell "holiday" or "gift" puppies.  The entire family must be in agreement to bring home one of our precious pups.  We don't have a questionaire like many of the breeders do, we would much rather communicate with you and get to know you and vice versa so that we know we are both making the best choices for the puppies and their new families.

HEALTH CONCERNS:  The Dogue De Bordeaux is a fast growing dog and as a result many times puppies can somtimes suffer from what is called Panosteitis or Pano, this is better known as "growing pains".  This is something found in large breed pups as they grow.  Not always, but sometimes. - A common problem with large breed dogues is also the possibility of hip dysplasia.  The Dogue de Bordeaux is a large athleticly fit dog with powerful muscular legs.  And a Dogue that does not fit this description should not be considered as show/breeding potential.  The Dogue De Bordeaux should be fed a quality food at all times as they are susceptable to allergies just like humans.  This can also avoid excess weight which is put on the body as it is growing and can avoid some of the problems explained.  Please choose a veterinarian very carefully that is familiar with the breed, as the Dogue De Bordeaux is very sensitive to anethesia and a very rare and special breed.

THE DOGUE DE BORDEAUX: is a kind and loving family pet that adores attention.  I cannot tell you how much love I have gotten from my family of Bordeaux.  It is a wonderful feeling to come home after a really tough day and these precious eyes are waiting for you.  They have the most amazing eye structure that I have ever seen in an animal.  It's as if they know exactly what you are saying to them at all times and they give unconditional love at all times.  Please visit a pet show before purchasing one and see if the Bordeaux is the pet for you.  They truly are a unique creature.  As you can see I am in love with the breed.

One of the most important issues with this breed that we need to strive upon is the RESCUE of unwanted Dogues.  Every year it gets more disheartening to see the rescues coming in to the different organizations.  I believe each and every one of these beautiful creatures deserves a chance at a happy home.  Please be aware that there are many Bordeaux that need a home at the various RESCUE organizations.  You can see them and reach out to them on the web.

Last but certainly not least because I could go on and on about this wonderful breed, I follow a strict code of my own ethics supporting honest information, proper records, breeding ethics, an agreement not to promote or support any involvement in anything that could be harmful to the breed.  I am diligent in my strive to better this breed.  These wonderful dogues have become a huge part of my life and I love every moment with them.  Thank you kindly for visiting my site.  Please feel free to contact me.
